Parish Plan 2018

The current Parish Plan was last revised in 2011.  It is time to update that Plan and make it relevant to today and to the future.

A working party of volunteers, Georgina Babey, Wayne Eagles, Annabel Harding, Sloan Hickman, Gaby Lucas and Susan Witt, with the authority of the Parish Council put together a questionnaire about village life, your part in and your ideas and hopes for the future.

Thank you to all those residents that took the time to fill in the Parish Questionnaire.  We are delighted to have received 112 responses, being 21% of the residents of Hale (based on the 2011 census giving a population of 519).

The replies have been collated and the results can be found here.  adobe icon Parish Plan Questionnaire Responses 2017 [64kb]  Do take a moment to have a look and see what you, the residents of Hale, would like for your village from your Parish Council.

Parish Plan Exhibition

‚ÄčAs you know the Parish Plan exhibition is taking place this Sunday - from 10am to 4pm in the village hall.  This is your chance to have your say about the future work of the Parish Council in Hale.  Come along and meet members of the Parish Plan working party and Councillors to find what is planned, what you can do and to have your questions answered.  There will be lots to see and you can have a cuppa while looking at our new projects such as Hatchet Green regeneration, improvements to the cemetery and upgrade of the car park.  The Council is also looking at working with possible new volunteer groups for example a youth working project, Community Land Trust, Community First Responders and Age Concern.  The Parish Council cannot do this work or make meaningful plans without your help so please do drop in and see us.  A poster is attached for your information - feel free to display it and tell your friends too!    adobe icon Parish Plan Exhibition Poster Jan 18 [341kb]
